Asmus Tietchens has decided to end his death lounge electronic pop project Hematic Sunsets by releasing a final album entitled Aroma Club Adieu. This vinyl LP is released on December 15th by Cologne label aufabwegen. Aroma Club Adieu features 12 bizarre pieces of Darth Vader organ pop with a spooky atmosphere. Artist friends of Asmus Tietchens have composed short hommages or farewell greetings that are included with the album in the form of an extra single sided 12″ on white vinyl. Among the saluting musicians are Felix Kubin, Okko Bekker, Heinz Funk, Michael Rother and more. (aatp68)
